The new bridge plays a key role in easing the traffic flows and people’s travel in the capital.

Constructed by the Overseas Cambodia Investment Corporation (OCIC), a local construction company, at a total cost of US$35 million, the new bridge crossing the Tonle Sap river is located in Khan Chroy Changvar and Khan Russey Keo.

The 642-metre-long and 20.5-metre-wide bridge was broken ground in October 2017 under the presidency of Samdech Techo Prime Minister.
