KOICA to Help Enhance Dangkor Referral Hospital

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) will help transform the current Dangkor Referral Hospital in Phnom Penh's Khan Dangkor into a modern facility - CPA 2 Hospital - equipped with advanced technology and staffed by highly qualified healthcare professionals. The minutes of discussions on the 'Project to Improve Public Health Services at Dangkor Referral Hospital, Phnom Penh' was signed here late last week under the witness of Phnom Penh Governor H.E. Khuong Sreng and Country Director of KOICA Cambodia Office Ms. CHOI Moon Jung. According to a KOICA Cambodia Office's press release, the project will be funded by a Korean government grant of US$11 million over six years (2024-2029). The expanded Dangkor Referral Hospital will offer a wider range of services, including medium-level surgery, maternal and child healthcare, and internal medicine, significantly improving access to quality healthcare for residents of Khan Dangkor and surrounding areas, the source added.
