Visit by Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development Sam Tan to Iceland, 9 to 13 October 2019

Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development Sam Tan will visit Reykjavik, Iceland from 9 to 13 October 2019 to attend the 7th Arctic Circle Assembly (ACA). MOS Tan will deliver an opening statement at the ACA.

On the sidelines of the 7th ACA, MOS Tan will call on senior members of the Icelandic government and have meetings with key Arctic personalities.

Initiated by former Icelandic President A�lafur Ragnar Grimsson in 2013, the ACA is an annual forum to promote international dialogue and cooperation on the Arctic. This is the seventh time that Singapore has been invited to attend the ACA since we were granted Observer status at the Arctic Council in 2013.

MOS Tan will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
