Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived in Indonesia on Friday, in a final stop for his Asia tour, reported state television.

This is the first visit of an Egyptian president to Jakarta since 1983.

He is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Indonesian President Joko Widodo and meet with the secretary-general of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The Egyptian president is also excepted to sign a number of agreements.

Sisi concluded his three-day visit to China on Thursday, during which he discussed business cooperation and possible investments.

The Egyptian President started his tour by visiting Singapore.
