SINGAPORE� The Malaysian High Commission has not received any information on whether Malaysians were among the injured in a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train accident here today.

A spokesman, when contacted by Bernama, said the commission would furnish the information when it received it from the authorities.

Twenty-eight people were injured in the accident when a train knocked into a stationary one at the Joo Koon station of the East-West Line at about 8 am.

The Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) and SMRT Corp, in a joint update, said 28 people were injured in the accident.
