The Yale-NUS Association for the Protection of Animals (YAPAC) at Yale-NUS College has implemented two programmes to increase awareness about animal welfare a meatless menu at the residential dining halls and animal therapy sessions.

Green and Healthy Monday, a meatless menu, is available at all three of the College's residential dining halls. YAPAC President Darrel Chang, who will start Year 3 in Academic Year 2017/18, said that the scheme was initially rolled out to one dining hall to gauge student feedback, and thereafter introduced to the other two dining halls after a positive response from the community.

YAPAC has also organised several animal therapy sessions with Love Kuching Project, a community-based cat rescue group.
