The Police have arrested a total of 88 persons, comprising 81 women and seven men, aged between 18 and 49, in a multi-agency anti-crime operation which ended on 17 August 2018.
During the nine-hour operation, officers from the Singapore Police Force and Central Narcotics Bureau conducted a series of coordinated raids and proactive checks at various public entertainment outlets located in the central region of Singapore. The 88 persons were arrested for various offences including gang, vice and drug-related offences. Investigations are ongoing.
The Police will continue to work with other law enforcement agencies and take tough enforcement action against those pre-disposed to crime and illegal activities.
