32nd SEA Games: Cambodia Bags 192 Medals as of May 13

Cambodia clinched a total of 192 medals – 59 gold, 53 silver and 80 bronze – at the 32nd SEA Games as of May 13 at 10:00 pm, ranking thus third on the Medal Table, according to the latest update of the Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC).

Cambodia is behind Vietnam which tops the list with 253 medals (87 gold, 79 silver and 87 bronze) and Thailand which occupies the second place with 206 medals (78 gold, 52 silver and 76 bronze).

Indonesia and Singapore were ranked fourth and fifth with 56 gold, 53 silver and 72 bronze medals; and 41 gold, 33 silver and 43 bronze medals, respectively.

The Philippines came in sixth with 37 gold, 64 silver and 77 bronze medals, followed by Malaysia with 28 gold, 37 silver and 73 bronze medals; Myanmar with 17 gold, 16 silver and 47 bronze medals; Laos with 6 gold, 17 silver and 48 bronze medals; Brunei with 2 gold, 1 silver and 6 bronze medals; and Timor-Leste with 4 bronze medals.

A 1,203-strong Cambodian delegation, including 896 athletes, have been taking part in the 32nd SEA Games that the Kingdom is hosting for the first time in 64 years under the motto “Sport: Living in Peace” from May 5 to 17.

Cambodia won 63 medals – 9 gold, 13 silver and 41 bronze – in the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam in 2022.
